We are a professional partner for the global building products industry. As an ISO 9001 certified specialist and market leader in developing and implementing individual design and dimensioning software, we are your professional software provider for dependable products. We develop and implement individual dimensioning software and support their uninterrupted operation.

All construction products of our partners are dimensioned according to national and international engineering specifications so that our supporting software solutions can be used in over 60 countries and more than 30 languages, thus increasing the acceptance and application frequency of all products decisively and sustainably.

We evaluate products and product ranges of our business partners with a view to the benefits of a software solution. In doing so, we maintain a close exchange of ideas with our clients and provide advice on everything from the calculation kernel to the surface design.

Our construction experts know exactly how to put all requirements into practice and consider every little detail. With all information provided by us, our partners then decide which solution they prefer and what exactly will be implemented.

Beginning of S&P SCS

The S&P Group decided early on to make its own software solutions available to the market in order to meet the ever disproportionately increasing demands on software solutions for the timely and high-quality execution of planning and acquisition tasks.

The S&P Group has been developing software solutions for all areas of civil engineering and the real estate industry since 1993. Partners for this include the international construction industry, planners and architects, builders, housing companies, and construction companies.

In December 2000, due to the considerably increasing demand for professional software solutions, the S&P Software Consulting + Solutions GmbH was created from the Ingenieur- und Architektengemeinschaft für Bauwesen Sahlmann & Partner GbR as an independent company within the S&P Group, which took over all consulting and development activities related to customer-specific design software.

Employees

While the entire S&P Group employs more than 400 people, our company currently has more than 20 permanent employees, interns, and undergraduates developing solutions for the international construction products industry.

Our team consists of graduate civil engineers, graduate computer scientists, industrial engineers, and mathematicians, who specialize in the development of application software.

The close connection to the employees of the S&P Group who are involved in the daily construction planning process, but also to the renowned local colleges and universities, provides the basis for being able to integrate the latest knowledge into our solutions at all times.

20 Years Of S&P SCS
The 20th anniversary of S&P SCS was celebrated in sunshine and good spirits. Dr. Mathias Reuschel, Chairman of the S&P Group congratulated Dr. Mirko Neumann and all employees of S&P SCS on 20 successful years, and handed over a birthday present on behalf of all managing directors: A beach volleyball court for all employees of the S&P Group, which was also ceremoniously "opened" on this day.

In 2016, the S&P Group celebrated its 25th anniversary. As part of the big celebration at the Leipzig Opera House with all employees and their families, long-time business partners and friends of S&P, the managing directors performed their own version of Grimm's fairy tales together with professional actors. "We are all guests of honor today, but above all are our children, because they are the driving force and vision givers for all of us. The fairy tale play is for them especially." Amidst the cheerful mood, Chairman Dr. Mathias Reuschel found words of gratitude for all those who made this anniversary possible. However, he did not just talk about the past, but directed his view toward the future: "We can look back with pride and forward with confidence."

We have the aspiration to continuously develop and improve ourselves. For this reason, S&P SCS was successfully certified according to ISO 9001:2008 in 2015. It is important for our national and international customers to know that we are a reliable partner with the highest quality standards. Regular certifications as well as continuous internal development are basic prerequisites for this.

Moving Into Our New Company Building
In the summer of 2013, S&P SCS moved into its own building in the Leutzscher Villenviertel together with S&P IT. After the complete renovation of the historical building by the colleagues from the S&P Group, space was created for current and future employees.

10th Anniversary S&P SCS
The first ten years of S&P SCS flew by. The company made a name for itself not only on the national but also on the international market. During the anniversary celebration, the managing director Dr. Mirko Neumann was congratulated by two founding fathers of the S&P Group - Prof. Horst Sahlmann and Dr. Mathias Reuschel - together with all employees and many invited guests, wishing S&P SCS all the best for the future.

Foundation of Sahlmann & Partner GbR
The foundation of the first S&P company, Sahlmann und Partner GbR, in 1991 was not the result of a thoroughly developed business concept. It begun with 4 engineers who were convinced of their competence and trusted each other unreservedly as experts but also as partners. "Now we create as many jobs as possible." (Prof. Sahlmann, 1991)
