The individual standards, including EC2, SIA 213 and ACI 318, provide different detailed design approaches. These are supplemented by manufacturer-specific requirements and special technical assessments.\n\nSeveral software solutions are available for punching shear design, differing primarily in the level of detail with which specific design features are represented.
