Mounting rail technology

We develop solutions for engineers and technical professionals to support the planning, dimensioning and structural verification of mounting rail systems under a wide range of loading conditions and load combinations. By integrating fastening design software, verified anchor products can be incorporated seamlessly into the overall design process.

Prefabricated brackets are a widely used element in the design of technical installations. We support users by visualising their specific application. An extensive pipe database helps to identify potential geometric clashes and define basic load assumptions. The software can automatically analyse a large number of load cases, calculate brackets mounted on levelling profiles and, thanks to its integrated beam FEM module, verify both load-bearing capacity and serviceability.

Using a modular system, virtually any type of framing structure can be designed. Different structural profiles can be combined with a range of suitable connectors to create a wide variety of configurations. These may include ceiling-suspended systems, wall-mounted or floor-mounted structures, as well as combinations of these. The software automatically performs all required verifications for both the ultimate limit state and the serviceability limit state. This enables pipes and cable trays to be arranged in a wide variety of configurations. In a further step, the framing systems can be connected to the adjacent solid structural elements by verifying the relevant fasteners and anchors.
